SUMMARY:Weekend Club - Dinosaurs!
DESCRIPTION:The NEW ‘Dazzle Weekend Club’ are themed afternoons exploring themes through drama\, craft and movement activities and team games. Fun\, creative\, educational (but don’t tell the kids!) workshops aimed at encouraging laughter\, confidence\, team work\, individuality and a joy of learning. \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				dino eggs\n				\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				dino yoga \n				\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\nThe first Weekend Club is going BIG as we head back millions of years\, enjoy some prehistoric fun and learn all about dinosaurs! Make fossils\, play Dino bingo\, hunt for dinosaur eggs\, do the Dino Stomp\, make a stegosaurus head piece\, feed the T-Rex and create a flying dino puppet. \nAll activities are social distanced and Covid-19 measures in place within a Covid secure venue. Fun\, creative\, educational (but don’t tell the kids!) workshops aimed at encouraging laughter\, confidence\, team work\, individuality and a joy of learning.\nNo commitment to every workshop\, simply pick the ones your child wants to do!\nThe Weekend Club workshops are for children in school years R-6. \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n		\n\nIf your child fancies a life on the ocean waves or as mermaid or merman join the gang and create exploding treasure chests\, play pirate bingo\, walk the plank\, play the mermaid obstacle course\, dance ‘portside’ style and break the secret pirate code on an amazing treasure hunt …of course! \nAll activities are social distanced and Covid-19 measures in place within a Covid secure venue. DESCRIPTION:Minchinhampton Youth Centre\nFor children in current school years R-6\nTuesday 27th October – Friday 30th October\n8.45am-3pm – £30 per child per day\nOnly 15 places available each day-availability updated regularly\nBig Screen Movie 3pm-5pm – £10 per child per session (Please note this extra session is only available to the children booked on to the Holiday Club days.) \nAvailability updated 27th October\nAll 4 days-Full / Tuesday 5 / Wednesday 7 / Thursday-Full / Friday 4 \nDue to current Govt restrictions Dazzle can only offer 15 places each day and because of these limited numbers Dazzle can not offer a sibling discount during the half term holiday club. We apologise and look forward to when we can allow more children to join the club and offer more discounts. We hope you understand. \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\nA DAZZLE Holiday Club offers fun\, active\, creative days for children and every day is different.\nEach day includes a variety of structured activities including team sports\, drama games\, sustainable craft activities\, yoga inspired games and silly fun.\nWhatever your child enjoys there is something for them\, as well as opportunities to try lots of new activities\, develop new interests and skills within a caring and inclusive environment\nThe children are encouraged to join in with all of the activities but we want the children to feel at home\, relax and hang out with their friends.\nThere is a team of enthusiastic\, engaging team leaders ready to entertain\, inspire and keep the kids active and happy.\nWe are very lucky to have the use of Minchinhampton Youth Centre with ample free parking for safer\, easier drop off and collection. The green spaces and astro turf surrounding the centre offer more opportunities for outdoor activities. The centre building has a selection of areas including a full size sports hall allowing easier social distancing and cosy sofas for relaxing.\nAt Dazzle we are aiming towards plastic free with craft activities and equipment. Compost and recycling bins are used during snack and lunch breaks. \nExample day at Holiday Club:\n8.45am-9.45am – Drop off and settle in\, craft bag decorating and introductory themed craft activity upstairs\n9.45am-10.30am – Introductions\, meet the team and discuss the day of fun ahead. Warm up yoga inspired or fitness activity and team games in the sports hall\n10.30am – Snack & drink break & themed quiz\n11am-12pm – Sports skills on the Astro Turf outdoors\n12pm – Picnic lunch and outdoor game\n12.30pm-1.30pm – Themed craft activity upstairs\n1.30pm – Snack break & themed bingo or competition\n2pm – Closing drama game or ‘Question of the Day’ in the hall\n2.45pm-3pm – Gather belongings and collection\n3pm-5pm – Big screen movie in the hall with hot chocolate and popcorn \n\n\n\n\n   \n      \n         \n         Govt autum term guidelines\n      \n   \n   \n      \n         \n         Covid-19 Risk Assessment Summer 2020\n      \n   \n   \n      \n         \n         Dazzle & Covid-19
