DESCRIPTION:I am thrilled that the amazing Lucy is offering another tap dance course for Dazzle. \n\nNEW IMPROVERS TAP dance course starting in June!\nIdeal for those who have some previous tap dance experience and want to further develop their skills\, building upon the foundational techniques and skills.\n\n\nLucy is looking forward to getting her tap shoes back on for another exciting 5 week dance course.\nShe started tapping when she was a little girl and distinctly remembers a starring tap solo in a jungle book dance\, dressed in fur and leapard print.\nSince then\, Lucy has competed in competition’s and festivals and continued her tap training at the prestigious Guildford Scholol of Acting\, where she graduated with a Musical Theatre degree. Lucy loves to create and explore with different styles and rhythms. Her favourite style of tap to watch is American tap which was undoubtedly influenced by the West End show ‘ STOMP’.\n\n\nSo come and make some noise this June at Dazzle!

DESCRIPTION:So excited that Ros is running this empowering and fun course in June! \n“When I became a Dazzle Showgirl in 2024\, I unlocked a part of my soul that I previously didn’t know existed. That secretive\, saucy\, confident woman who could dance as if no one was watching. \nAt the time\, burlesque was firmly outside my comfort zone but I was a Showgirl now so I better crack on with it. The term “fake it till you make it” has never been more true for me! I learnt the basic moves and slowly but surely started to tap into the confidence I needed to pull it off! \nPerforming a burlesque set in front of a live audience was the most empowering experience I’ve ever had and it has genuinely changed my life for the better\, carrying that new confidence with me into the world. \nI therefore feel really strongly about teaching a burlesque course. The moves will be simple\, accessible and achievable and as the weeks go by we’ll nurture the attitude you need to give these moves conviction. This is your chance to dance as if no one is watching. \nWear clothes and shoes that you are confident dancing in. I would recommend warming up in trainers and then if you’re comfortable\, switch to heels or go barefoot for the routine. DESCRIPTION:What makes a Dazzle Dance & Stretch course unique?\nEvery week a new fun routine\, a new dance style\, new feel good music. \nEach routine is choreographed with three aims – I want the choreography to feel achievable and for you to leave feeling a sense of achievement – I want you to also feel challenged enough to focus on the dancing and forget about the world outside – I want to put a smile on your face. Some classes focus more on the fitness\, some are bouncy\, some are more technical and others but each class is independent so you can rock up\, enjoy\, take what you need from it and forget about it. There is no pressure to remember any moves for the next class\, just enjoy then say goodbye and get on with your week. \nA short warm up starts the class before gradually\, section by section\, we develop and learn an achievable\, fun\, stylish but challenging enough routine. With lots of repeated sequences\, you will be able to add in more style and individuality as we run through the finished masterpiece a few times before a simple cool down. The time flies by and you can put in as much or as little as you want. If you are there for fitness\, to hang out with friends\, to dance\, to forget about the cupboards that need sorting\, it doesn’t matter. \n\nThen the lights dim\, we roll out our mats for a well deserved guided 15-20 minute stretch and relax.  Building strength and flexibility\, relaxing\, reaping the benefits of the dance workout and helping you to leave the class a little less wired up.\nHave a bath run for when you get home\, pour the gin or just crawl into bed.

DESCRIPTION:What makes a Dazzle Dance & Stretch course unique?\nEvery week a new fun routine\, a new dance style\, new feel good music. \nEach routine is choreographed with three aims – I want the choreography to feel achievable and for you to leave feeling a sense of achievement – I want you to also feel challenged enough to focus on the dancing and forget about the world outside – I want to put a smile on your face. Some classes focus more on the fitness\, some are bouncy\, some are more technical and others but each class is independent so you can rock up\, enjoy\, take what you need from it and forget about it. There is no pressure to remember any moves for the next class\, just enjoy then say goodbye and get on with your week. \nA short warm up starts the class before gradually\, section by section\, we develop and learn an achievable\, fun\, stylish but challenging enough routine. With lots of repeated sequences\, you will be able to add in more style and individuality as we run through the finished masterpiece a few times before a simple cool down. The time flies by and you can put in as much or as little as you want. If you are there for fitness\, to hang out with friends\, to dance\, to forget about the cupboards that need sorting\, it doesn’t matter. \n\nThen the lights dim\, we roll out our mats for a well deserved guided 15-20 minute stretch and relax.  Building strength and flexibility\, relaxing\, reaping the benefits of the dance workout and helping you to leave the class a little less wired up.\nHave a bath run for when you get home\, pour the gin or just crawl into bed.

DESCRIPTION:I am thrilled that the amazing Lucy is offering another tap dance course for Dazzle. \n\nNEW IMPROVERS TAP dance course starting in June!\nIdeal for those who have some previous tap dance experience and want to further develop their skills\, building upon the foundational techniques and skills.\n\n\nLucy is looking forward to getting her tap shoes back on for another exciting 5 week dance course.\nShe started tapping when she was a little girl and distinctly remembers a starring tap solo in a jungle book dance\, dressed in fur and leapard print.\nSince then\, Lucy has competed in competition’s and festivals and continued her tap training at the prestigious Guildford Scholol of Acting\, where she graduated with a Musical Theatre degree. Lucy loves to create and explore with different styles and rhythms. Her favourite style of tap to watch is American tap which was undoubtedly influenced by the West End show ‘ STOMP’.\n\n\nSo come and make some noise this June at Dazzle!

DESCRIPTION:So excited that Ros is running this empowering and fun course in June! \n“When I became a Dazzle Showgirl in 2024\, I unlocked a part of my soul that I previously didn’t know existed. That secretive\, saucy\, confident woman who could dance as if no one was watching. \nAt the time\, burlesque was firmly outside my comfort zone but I was a Showgirl now so I better crack on with it. The term “fake it till you make it” has never been more true for me! I learnt the basic moves and slowly but surely started to tap into the confidence I needed to pull it off! \nPerforming a burlesque set in front of a live audience was the most empowering experience I’ve ever had and it has genuinely changed my life for the better\, carrying that new confidence with me into the world. \nI therefore feel really strongly about teaching a burlesque course. The moves will be simple\, accessible and achievable and as the weeks go by we’ll nurture the attitude you need to give these moves conviction. This is your chance to dance as if no one is watching. \nWear clothes and shoes that you are confident dancing in. I would recommend warming up in trainers and then if you’re comfortable\, switch to heels or go barefoot for the routine. So much so that I have decided to run a dedicated cheerdance course for Dazzle. \nYou won’t find any human pyramids\, stunts or acrobatics in this class\, but what you will find is simple\, high energy\, visually impacting dance routines. And we’ll even provide the pom poms.\nThink Thunderstruck by the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders\, minus the jump into the splits! \nThis class is aimed at all levels of ability as long as you’re willing to have lots of fun getting a tad sweaty. \nWear clothes you’re comfortable dancing in and trainers. The total donation will be announced on Saturday May 17th.\nDiscounts\nSorry\, no discounted or concessionary tickets are available for this fundraising event.\nRefunds\nWe are sorry but we are unable to offer refunds unless an event is cancelled. We may be able to resell tickets from a waiting list of sold out events. If a show is cancelled any refunds must go back on the origional payment method. If your card has expired\, the refund will still go back into your account but may take longer than normal.\nBar\nCocktails\, wines\, prosecco\, beer and snacks will be available to purchase during the evening at the bar which will take card and cash payments.
