DESCRIPTION:This Easter the theme for the three day theatre workshop is the fab children’s book ‘The Man Whose Mother Was A Pirate!’ by Margaret Mahy. \nSam is an ordinary person who wears an ordinary suit and ordinary shoes. He works in an ordinary\, neat office writing down figures all day and underlining them. But Sam’s mother is definitely not an ordinary woman\, Sam’s mother is a pirate and she wants to sweep him away to sea…On their journey with a wheelbarrow and a kite Sam and his mother meet farmers\, philosophers\, animals and of course PIRATES! \nDuring the three days the group will create a variety of scenery and props to contribute to the set and characters\, they will work on their stage skills through script work\, dance routines and songwriting AND they get to perform everything they have learnt to adoring family & friends at the end of the workshop. \nIf you are booking 2 or more siblings remember to use code EASTERSIBLING10 for a 10% discount. DESCRIPTION:Wake Up Club\nActive\, creative\, energizing\, fun before school club\n7.45am-8.45am\n£4 per morning or £3.50 per morning when booking a half term or termly course.\nIncludes a simple\, healthy breakfast on a self serve basis. \nDazzle has been running the successful early morning ‘Wake Up Club’ at Minchinhampton Primary School since October 2015.\n\nThe children are welcome from 7.45am and a simple healthy breakfast is ready with activities set up in the hall and a colouring and craft table. Once the majority of the group has arrived we can start the principal activity which varies from street dance\, plate spinning\, bingo\, french skipping\, tennis\, gymnastics\, quizzes\, craft activities\, board games\, yoga\, basketball or indoor cricket.\nA Dazzle ‘Wake Up Club’ aims to develop new skills\, fitness\, co-ordination\, confidence and be ready for a day at school.\n\nThe Wake Up Club team at Minchinhampton Academy are Sarah\, Suzie and Jen.

DESCRIPTION:GIRL POWER is a new creation of Dazzle and a unique opportunity for your daughter.\nTailored specifically for girls\, the courses aim to enhance the social-emotional well-being\, physical confidence and self-esteem of girls through team sports\, dance and yoga.\nMany girls need a different environment to be allowed to try new skills\, express themselves creatively and grow in confidence.  A space to develop confidence to be themselves\, to be healthy\, to try new things\, to respect themselves and respect others.\nGirl Power aims to provide this place. \nThe class starts with a fun warm up game to get the mind and body ready before moving onto the principal sport activity.\nGirl Power this Spring will focus on the basic skills\, rules and positions of Hockey and Parkour and when the weather allows\, we will take advantage of the Astro Turf facilities and practise these new skills outside.\nAfter a short snack break the girls will put on their dancing feet to work on an upbeat dance routine. This term the girls will be exploring the  iconic steps\,  rhythm and history of the Cha Cha and Streetdance.\nThe group then heads to the cosy mat circle for a relaxing stretch to concentrate on breathing techniques and fun\, yoga inspired sequences. \nGirl Power closes with a chat and the topics can vary from diet\, friendship skills\, fitness advice\,  body image\, relaxation techniques to local sports opportunities.\nIncentives\, tips and information handouts for their personal Girl Power folder link the classes\, encourage practise and  further interest. \nMinchinhampton Youth Centre\n4 week course\nApril 27th\, May 4th\, 11th & 18th\nAges 5-12 / 11am-12.30pm\n£40 per child per 4 week course\nIf your daughter would like to try a session of Girl Power or join part way through the course please contact Sarah at Dazzle to check availability
