Please message sarah@dazzleworkshops.co.uk to be included on a waiting list\, in case of any cancellations. \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\nDAZZLE Holiday Club offers fun\, active\, creative days for children aged 5-11.\nWe aim for a personal ‘home from home’ experience with small groups allowing us to connect and develop relationships with each other.\nEvery day is different and includes a variety of structured activities including team sports\, drama games\, plastic free craft activities\, yoga inspired games and silly fun.\nWhatever your child enjoys there is something for them\, as well as opportunities to try lots of new activities\, develop new interests and skills within a caring and inclusive environment.\nThe children are encouraged to join in with all of the activities but we want the children to feel at home\, relax and hang out with their friends.\nThere is a team of experienced\, enthusiastic and engaging team leaders ready to entertain\, inspire\, guide and keep the kids active and happy. \nWe are very lucky to have the sole use of Minchinhampton Community Centre. The green spaces surrounding the centre and on-site astro turf offer lots of opportunities for secure outdoor activities.The centre building has a selection of areas including a full size sports hall and cosy sofas for relaxing.There is ample free parking for safer\, stress free drop off and collection. \nAt Dazzle we are aiming towards plastic free with craft activities and equipment. Compost and recycling bins are used during snack \nTuesday 19th April – Thursday 21st April\nMinchinhampton Community Centre\, Tobacconist Road\, Minchinhampton\nThree days: 8.45am-5.30pm £110   /  8.45am-3pm £80\nSingle days: 8.45am-5.30pm £40   /  8.45am-3pm £30\n10% discount when booking two or more siblings. DESCRIPTION:Welcoming\, empowering\, sweaty\, joyful and fun.\nThis August 3rd-5th you can choose from an earlier 5.30pm – 6.45pm or 7.30pm-8.45pm ladies dance class with a new routine\, a new dance style and new feel good music.\nEach routine is choreographed with three aims – I want the choreography to feel achievable and for you to leave feeling a sense of achievement – I want you to also feel challenged enough to focus on the dancing and forget about the world outside – I want to put a smile on your face. Some classes focus more on the fitness\, some are bouncy\, some are more technical and others but each class is independent so you can rock up\, enjoy\, take what you need from it and forget about it. There is no pressure to remember any moves for the next class\, just enjoy then say goodbye and get on with your week. \nA short warm up starts the class before gradually\, section by section\, we develop and learn an achievable\, fun\, stylish but challenging enough routine. With lots of repeated sequences\, you will be able to add in more style and individuality as we run through the finished masterpiece a few times before a simple cool down. The time flies by and you can put in as much or as little as you want. If you are there for fitness\, to hang out with friends\, to dance\, to forget about the cupboards that need sorting\, it doesn’t matter. \n\nThen we roll out our mats for a well deserved guided 15-20 minute stretch and relax.  Building strength and flexibility\, relaxing\, reaping the benefits of the dance workout and helping you to leave the class a little less wired up.\n\n“I love dancing so the fun of learning a new dance routine every week and getting a workout at the same time is just perfect. Sarah is lovely\, very warm\, friendly\, welcoming and so enthusiastic. She keeps us on our toes\, not just physically but mentally too. It’s the highlight of my week and I just love it.”

DESCRIPTION:The Kids Summer Dance afternoon workshops are perfect for kids who love to boogie\, would love the opportunity to try lots of different dance styles\, enjoys learning new routines but with no pressure.\nEach day is a new fun dance style and routine to new exciting music and this summer includes upbeat Pop Video Choreography\, Jazzy West End Style and Disney Movie Fun.. creative\, active\, confidence building fun\, using up that endless energy  and every class includes fun warm up fitness games\,  and finishes with a closing stretching activity.\nWe hope to dance with your little people this summer. \nDazzle is joined by the amazing Rachel Ainslie\, dancer\, choreographer and dance instructor at Leap of Faith. \nRachel has taught dance and/or fitness in both primary & secondary schools for over ten years including Jazzy Juniors and Zumba Kids after school clubs as well as Children in Need and Red Nose Day whole school activities. Each session will focus on a different play\, exploring the Elizabethan language using some smaller scenes from the play. The children will have the chance to dip their toes into lots of character and voice work through fun warm up and drama games and themed craft activities. \nDazzle is excited to be joined by Kara for these unique summer workshops.\n“I have been involved in the arts and theatre for as long as I can remember. I have spent the last three years studying for my undergraduate degree in Drama\, during which I’ve had the opportunity to act in a two week run at Edinburgh Fringe\, perform in several shows for Minotaur Theatre Company and develop my experience in other technical elements of theatre. Next year I am beginning my Teacher Training course in September to pursue a career in drama teaching. All of her iconic moves\, sass and a dash of vogueing included in this powerful routine.\nThursday 5th – Afrobeat is a new energetic\, diverse dance style inspired by traditional African music. Pulsating rhythms and colourful sounds guaranteed to put some sunshine in your soul! \nEach routine is choreographed with three aims – I want the choreography to feel achievable and for you to leave feeling a sense of achievement – I want you to also feel challenged enough to focus on the dancing and forget about the world outside – I want to put a smile on your face. Some classes focus more on the fitness\, some are bouncy\, some are more technical and others but each class is independent so you can rock up\, enjoy\, take what you need from it and forget about it. There is no pressure to remember any moves for the next class\, just enjoy then say goodbye and get on with your week. \nA short warm up starts the class before gradually\, section by section\, we develop and learn an achievable\, fun\, stylish but challenging enough routine. With lots of repeated sequences\, you will be able to add in more style and individuality as we run through the finished masterpiece a few times before a simple cool down. The time flies by and you can put in as much or as little as you want. If you are there for fitness\, to hang out with friends\, to dance\, to forget about the cupboards that need sorting\, it doesn’t matter. \n\nThen we roll out our mats for a well deserved guided 15-20 minute stretch and relax.  Building strength and flexibility\, relaxing\, reaping the benefits of the dance workout and helping you to leave the class a little less wired up.\n\n“I love dancing so the fun of learning a new dance routine every week and getting a workout at the same time is just perfect. Dance styles include Street dance\, Cheerleading\, Chairography\, Cha Cha\, Jive\, Bhangra\, Musical Theatre and Disco or famous routines from movies such as Grease\, Hairspray or Dirty Dancing.\nWith the emphasis on fun these are uplifting\, soul and booty shaking dance classes finishing with a 15 minute stretch and relaxation. All abilities welcome. \nPlease wear shoes and clothes to easily groove in and bring your own yoga mat and water bottle!\nVenue-Minchinhampton Youth Centre\nThe 6 week course costs £40 if booked by the first session. These can include bhangra\, street dance\, jive\, cheerleading\, tango\, musical theatre\, cha cha\, breakdance\, chairography\, tutting or famous routines from history such as Thriller\, Singing in the Rain or Saturday Night Fever. The group will explore the beats\, rhythm\, music and history of each dance genre while developing a routine\, including the children’s ideas.\nEach class includes a fun warm up fitness game and finishes with a closing stretching activity.\nOn-line dance videos and yoga cards are included during the course. \nPlease note that we require a weeks cancellation before the course start date notice to receive a refund. SUMMARY:Easter Holiday Club - Week 2
DESCRIPTION:Dazzle is thrilled to confirm that our Easter holiday clubs will go ahead after the UK Government rubber stamped guidance for out of school childcare settings as part of the recent roadmap to recovery. The Easter holiday club will once again be adapted from the true ‘normal‘ of camps to ensure we offer a COVID-19 safe environment for all including socially distanced activities\, small groups and maintaining school bubbles where possible. As it stands\, until April 12th\, holiday club providers can run in Easter providing care for children indoors as long as parents meet a certain criteria: Where it is reasonably necessary to enable their parents and carers to work\, search for work\, undertake education or training\, or attend a medical appointment or address a medical need\, or attend a support group. \n\n\n\n\n   \n      \n         \n         Easter Holiday Club 2021\n      \n   \n\n\n\nWe have been worked hard to implement changes to our programme to allow us to operate safely within the current Public Health England parameters\, whilst still ensuring the children in our care have as much fun as possible. \nA DAZZLE Holiday Club offers fun\, active\, creative days for children in school years reception to year 7. A personal ‘home from home’ experience with small groups allowing us to connect and develop relationships with each other.\nEvery day is different and includes a variety of structured activities including team sports\, drama games\, sustainable craft activities\, yoga inspired games and silly fun. Whatever your child enjoys there is something for them\, as well as opportunities to try lots of new activities\, develop new interests and skills within a caring and inclusive environment. The children are encouraged to join in with all of the activities but we want the children to feel at home\, relax and hang out with their friends. \nThere is a team of experienced\, enthusiastic and engaging team leaders ready to entertain\, inspire\, guide and keep the kids active and happy.\nWe are very lucky to have the sole use of Minchinhampton Youth Centre. The green spaces surrounding the centre and on-site astro turf offer lots of opportunities for secure outdoor activities. The centre building has a selection of areas including a full size sports hall allowing easier social distancing and cosy sofas for relaxing. There is ample free parking for safer\, easier drop off and collection..\nAt Dazzle we are aiming towards plastic free with craft activities and equipment. Compost and recycling bins are used during snack and lunch breaks. \nWeek 1: Tuesday April 6th-April 8th (please book children where it is reasonably necessary to enable their parents and carers to work\, search for work\, undertake education or training\, or attend a medical appointment or address a medical need\, or attend a support group)\nWeek 2: Tuesday April 13th-15th\n8.45am-4pm each day\nPriority booking available for one week (three days) £100\n15 places available each day \nBefore you book\, it is important you read and understand the below but please see the full Covid-19 Risk Assessment on the documents page on dazzleworkshops.co.uk covering all of the points in more detail.\n*Government advice is to consider sending your child to the same\, local setting consistently\, in order to prevent your child from mixing with multiple different groups of children. Therefore Dazzle is giving priority to those booking a full week (three days each week) before opening up single day bookings. Children should be encouraged to attend settings close to where they live or go to school. This should\, ideally\, be within walking or cycling distance.\n*Our clubs will operate in a ‘Covid Secure’ way with greatly enhanced hygiene and cleaning routines\, contactless booking\, extra staff training and social distancing encouraged at all times. Our clubs will run in a different way to normal\, with an adapted programme of activities with the ‘free play’ impacted the most and a more structured schedule together as a group.\n*Capacities will be reduced from normal levels of 25 to a maximum of 15 children each day. The government guideline is to keep to small groups of 15. Although we could accept more children this would mean separating the children into different groups with no mixing between the groups. DESCRIPTION:Dazzle is thrilled to confirm that our Easter holiday clubs will go ahead after the UK Government rubber stamped guidance for out of school childcare settings as part of the recent roadmap to recovery. The Easter holiday club will once again be adapted from the true ‘normal‘ of camps to ensure we offer a COVID-19 safe environment for all including socially distanced activities\, small groups and maintaining school bubbles where possible. As it stands\, until April 12th\, holiday club providers can run in Easter providing care for children indoors as long as parents meet a certain criteria: Where it is reasonably necessary to enable their parents and carers to work\, search for work\, undertake education or training\, or attend a medical appointment or address a medical need\, or attend a support group.\n\n\n\n\n   \n      \n         \n         Easter Holiday Club 2021\n      \n   \n\n\n\nWe have been worked hard to implement changes to our programme to allow us to operate safely within the current Public Health England parameters\, whilst still ensuring the children in our care have as much fun as possible. \nA DAZZLE Holiday Club offers fun\, active\, creative days for children in school years reception to year 7. A personal ‘home from home’ experience with small groups allowing us to connect and develop relationships with each other.\nEvery day is different and includes a variety of structured activities including team sports\, drama games\, sustainable craft activities\, yoga inspired games and silly fun. Whatever your child enjoys there is something for them\, as well as opportunities to try lots of new activities\, develop new interests and skills within a caring and inclusive environment. The children are encouraged to join in with all of the activities but we want the children to feel at home\, relax and hang out with their friends.\nThere is a team of experienced\, enthusiastic and engaging team leaders ready to entertain\, inspire\, guide and keep the kids active and happy.\nWe are very lucky to have the sole use of Minchinhampton Youth Centre. The green spaces surrounding the centre and on-site astro turf offer lots of opportunities for secure outdoor activities. The centre building has a selection of areas including a full size sports hall allowing easier social distancing and cosy sofas for relaxing. There is ample free parking for safer\, easier drop off and collection..\nAt Dazzle we are aiming towards plastic free with craft activities and equipment. Compost and recycling bins are used during snack and lunch breaks.\nWeek 1: Tuesday April 6th-April 8th (please book children where it is reasonably necessary to enable their parents and carers to work\, search for work\, undertake education or training\, or attend a medical appointment or address a medical need\, or attend a support group)\nWeek 2: Tuesday April 13th-15th\n8.45am-4pm each day\nPriority booking available for one week (three days) £100\n15 places available each day\nBefore you book\, it is important you read and understand the below but please see the full Covid-19 Risk Assessment on the documents page on dazzleworkshops.co.uk covering all of the points in more detail.\n*Government advice is to consider sending your child to the same\, local setting consistently\, in order to prevent your child from mixing with multiple different groups of children. Therefore Dazzle is giving priority to those booking a full week (three days each week) before opening up single day bookings. Children should be encouraged to attend settings close to where they live or go to school. This should\, ideally\, be within walking or cycling distance.\n*Our clubs will operate in a ‘Covid Secure’ way with greatly enhanced hygiene and cleaning routines\, contactless booking\, extra staff training and social distancing encouraged at all times. Our clubs will run in a different way to normal\, with an adapted programme of activities with the ‘free play’ impacted the most and a more structured schedule together as a group.\n*Capacities will be reduced from normal levels of 25 to a maximum of 15 children each day. DESCRIPTION:NEW routine\, NEW music\, NEW dance style\, EVERY week!\nOne week we could explore the iconic Single Ladies dance\, another week we pop on a coin belt for a free flowing bhangra routine or a cheeky Charleston to the Chicago soundtrack! Dance styles include Street dance\, Cheerleading\, Chairography\, Cha Cha\, Jive\, Bhangra\, Musical Theatre and Disco or famous routines from movies such as Grease\, Hairspray or Dirty Dancing.\nWith the emphasis on fun these are uplifting\, soul and booty shaking dance classes finishing with a 15 minute stretch and relaxation. All abilities welcome. \nPlease wear shoes and clothes to easily groove in and bring your own yoga mat and water bottle!\nVenue-Minchinhampton Youth Centre\n4 week course up to October half term costs £25 if booked by the first session. SUMMARY:Wednesday Dance Club - 4 weeks
DESCRIPTION:Children need to play\, move freely and express their individuality.\nChildren want to have fun\, be spontaneous and escape from reality.\nIf your child loves to boogie at home\, would love to be introduced to and try lots of different dance styles\, enjoys learning new routines but does not want the pressure of performing and gradings.. the Dazzle Dance Club could be perfect! \nA Dazzle Dance Club is for boys and girls in school years R-6 and introduces a new dance style every 1-2 weeks. These can include bhangra\, street dance\, jive\, cheerleading\, tango\, musical theatre\, cha cha\, breakdance\, chairography\, tutting or famous routines from history such as Thriller\, Singing in the Rain or Saturday Night Fever. The group will explore the beats\, rhythm\, music and history of each dance genre while developing a routine\, including the children’s ideas.\nEach class includes a fun warm up fitness game and finishes with a closing stretching activity.\nOn-line dance videos and yoga cards are included during the course. \nYou can also choose to purchase a Dance Prop Kit which includes a bundle of fun equipment the children will use during the 4 week dance club up to October half term. The children will be provided with individual props during the class so the kit is not essential but it enables your child to continue and develop the dance styles and routines at home.\nThere are 10 Dance Prop Kits available for this course. \nPlease note that we require a weeks cancellation before the course start date notice to receive a refund. If your child cannot make a session a refund can not be offered unless in the case of a cancellation by Dazzle. \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Fun stretching\n				\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Basketball choreography\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Hat dancing\n				\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Tutting\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Creative movement\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Cooling down\n				\n		\n\nDazzle is committed to creating more consistent\, safe groups during this autumn. Therefore\, this is a closed group and we cannot offer your child’s place to another booking once the course starts. If your child misses a session\, unfortunately a refund cannot be offered but in the case of Dazzle cancelling a class\, a refund or credit note will be offered. \nWith the lovely huge hall at the Minchinhampton Youth Centre we can ensure social distancing and safe fun for the children. No-partner dancing\, allocated spot on the dance floor\, hand sanitising upon arrival and leaving the venue\, individual props sanitised before each session and venue cleaning are all part of Dazzles commitment to keeping the children\, Dazzle team and the venue safe for other users. SUMMARY:Monday Ladies Dance
DESCRIPTION:NEW routine\, NEW music\, NEW dance style\, EVERY week!\nOne week we could explore the iconic Single Ladies dance\, another week we pop on a coin belt for a free flowing bhangra routine or a cheeky Charleston to the Chicago soundtrack! Dance styles include Street dance\, Cheerleading\, Chairography\, Cha Cha\, Jive\, Bhangra\, Musical Theatre and Disco or famous routines from movies such as Grease\, Hairspray or Dirty Dancing.\nWith the emphasis on fun these are uplifting\, soul and booty shaking dance classes finishing with a 15 minute stretch and relaxation. All abilities welcome. \nPlease wear shoes and clothes to easily groove in and bring your own yoga mat and water bottle!\nVenue-Minchinhampton Youth Centre\n6 week course up to October half term costs £40 if booked by the first session.
