The amazing Ros is leading these new dance courses specialising in and exploring classic country moves but with a twist!
“I fell in love with country music in 2013 when I was living in Canada’s wild west state of Alberta, spending weekends at the rodeo and nights out at the honkeytonk! I discovered a modern, varied genre of music where every artist is incredibly talented and every song tells a story.
Back in the UK my love of country music is stronger than ever and there’s nothing I love more than pulling on my cowboy boots and kicking up dust to feel good country music. But without a local honkeytonk, the opportunities are few and far between!
I’ve tried traditional line dance classes but the footwork and repetition makes me feel restricted. So, I decided to create the kind of dance class I would want to attend…
Simple dance routines that have been influenced by classic line dance steps with a twist of freedom from hip hop and commercial styles.
A new routine every week set to the very best country hits, old and new.
