An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Saturday, repeating until November 24, 2018
This new course is uniquely tailored for girls and is aimed at building confidence and developing self-esteem in a variety of physical activities.
Girls can sometimes lack self belief simply because they have never been given the opportunity to play and practise equally.
Good self-esteem gives us the courage to try new things, the power to believe in ourselves and the confidence to make healthy choices throughout life.
The mornings will be separated into three sections:
* Ball skills and sports knowledge focusing on spatial awareness, trajectory skills and hand eye co-ordination.
* Dance routines exploring individuality, creativity and spontaneity within dance and creative movement.
* Fitness and health awareness looking at diet and exercise and encouraging a positive body image.
Each session will finish with a yoga inspired stretch and cool down.
Every girl will receive a club folder at the start of the course which includes a skill practise diary, fitness incentives, yoga cards.
