Stroud kids half term theatre workshop

A Dazzle theatre workshop is a special and personal experience for your child. The group will start with a blank canvas and will be involved in every aspect of the show build process from scenery, prop and costume creation, ticket and program designs, music, character work, choreography and directing. The children own the finished project. Whatever your child’s creative outlet, there will be something for them to enjoy during the 4 days and their self esteem will develop in areas they are not so confident.

A small, intimate group of 20 children and a team of 4 ensures every child feels important, individual and heard.

Your child will be welcomed between 8.45am-9.30am, warm up drama games or fun yoga activities will start the day. The mornings will involve creating scenery and props such as a huge camp fire, a jungle backdrop, animal masks and jungle costumes, which they get to keep! After lunch we hit the stage and work on a fantastic Dazzle script ‘West Side Jungle’ and fun dance routines. Developing your child’s stage skills, creative awareness, imagination and teamwork the group will work on scenes and characters gradually building towards a final exciting show.
Playful drama, movement and voice games will start and close every morning and afternoon session.

The cost of the 4 day theatre workshop is £100 per child.
