These sessions are focused on introducing the wonderful world and language of Shakespeare to children in a fun and relaxed way. Each session will focus on a different play, exploring the Elizabethan language using some smaller scenes from the play. The children will have the chance to dip their toes into lots of character and voice work through fun warm up and drama games and themed craft activities.
Dazzle is excited to be joined by Kara for these unique summer workshops.
“I have been involved in the arts and theatre for as long as I can remember. I have spent the last three years studying for my undergraduate degree in Drama, during which I’ve had the opportunity to act in a two week run at Edinburgh Fringe, perform in several shows for Minotaur Theatre Company and develop my experience in other technical elements of theatre. Next year I am beginning my Teacher Training course in September to pursue a career in drama teaching. I am so excited to begin this next chapter and really embrace my passion for Theatre in Education!”
