Wednesday Dance Club – 4 weeks

Children need to play, move freely and express their individuality.
Children want to have fun, be spontaneous and escape from reality.
If your child loves to boogie at home, would love to be introduced to and try lots of different dance styles, enjoys learning new routines but does not want the pressure of performing and gradings.. the Dazzle Dance Club could be perfect!

A Dazzle Dance Club is for boys and girls in school years R-6 and introduces a new dance style every 1-2 weeks. These can include bhangra, street dance, jive, cheerleading, tango, musical theatre, cha cha, breakdance, chairography, tutting or famous routines from history such as Thriller, Singing in the Rain or Saturday Night Fever. The group will explore the beats, rhythm, music and history of each dance genre while developing a routine, including the children’s ideas.
Each class includes a fun warm up fitness game and finishes with a closing stretching activity.
On-line dance videos and yoga cards are included during the course.

You can also choose to purchase a Dance Prop Kit which includes a bundle of fun equipment the children will use during the 4 week dance club up to October half term. The children will be provided with individual props during the class so the kit is not essential but it enables your child to continue and develop the dance styles and routines at home.
There are 10 Dance Prop Kits available for this course.

Please note that we require a weeks cancellation before the course start date notice to receive a refund. If your child cannot make a session a refund can not be offered unless in the case of a cancellation by Dazzle.

Dazzle is committed to creating more consistent, safe groups during this autumn. Therefore, this is a closed group and we cannot offer your child’s place to another booking once the course starts. If your child misses a session, unfortunately a refund cannot be offered but in the case of Dazzle cancelling a class, a refund or credit note will be offered.

With the lovely huge hall at the Minchinhampton Youth Centre we can ensure social distancing and safe fun for the children. No-partner dancing, allocated spot on the dance floor, hand sanitising upon arrival and leaving the venue, individual props sanitised before each session and venue cleaning are all part of Dazzles commitment to keeping the children, Dazzle team and the venue safe for other users.
